Candidate Bio: Bill Wasserman

Bill Wasserman is an experienced leader with 11 years on the Board, currently serving as Vice President of Parker Water and President of the ReuterHess Recreation Authority. He is the retired owner of Parker Executive Search Consultants Inc, an executive recruiting company that specialized in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to moving to Colorado, Bill spent 23 years working in operations management in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. He is a retired Navy Captain and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in American History and Political Science from Grand Valley State University in Michigan, and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Florida Atlantic University.

Bill is an active member of Ave Maria Catholic Church where he served as past President of the Parish Council.He is a third-degree Knight of Columbus Council 7880 and is currently the Deputy Grand Knight.

As a Board Member, Bill helped formulate the policies of 75% renewable water at buildout, fiscal responsibility, keeping the rate increases to below the rate of inflation, and achieving technical reliability and superiority.  He is very collaborative in his approach to problem solving but is not afraid to voice his opinion. He is highly respected by both other Board Members as well as the staff.

Bill is an active sportsman and has spear headed the efforts to get recreational fishing in ReuterHess Reservoir, which will open this year. Bill is very knowledgeable of water issues. He has a reputation for asking probing questions, common sense, high integrity and a good sense of humor.
