Two Board members for Parker Water and Sanitation District were sworn in Thursday, May 22nd, at the District Board meeting. The District is governed by a five-person elected Board of Directors. In 2014, two of the Board positions were up for re-election. Eligible Board members live in the District, and volunteer their time and expertise to address a variety of water-related projects and plans.
Re-elected past PWSD Board members Merlin Klotz and Darcy Beard were sworn in by Douglas County Clerk and Recorder, Jack Arrowsmith.
The PWSD Board also voted Darcy Beard to serve as Board Chair, Bill Wasserman to serve as Vice-Chair, Merlin Klotz to serve as Treasurer and Kelly McCurry to serve as Secretary.
