Brooke Booth - Secretary (Term 2022-2025)

A Colorado native, Director Booth grew up in Littleton and is a graduate of Columbine High School and the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned her teaching license.

In addition to her time spent as a teacher in Highlands Ranch, Brook is also a licensed real estate agent and licensed real estate appraiser. As a realtor, she knows the impact of growth on our community and how important water is. Her background as a teacher, resident and businesswoman are an invaluable help as she serves on the PWSD Board and works to make sound decisions that will benefit Douglas County.

She and her husband, Matt, have lived in in the Canyons since 2020 with their three children - daughters Blake and Brittin, and son Brady. They have two furry friends that are part of the family, a Newfoundland puppy named Breck and a Golden Retriever named Cassie. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her son’s baseball games or simply spending time with her family.

Robert Kennah - Director-At-Large (Term 2023-2027)

Director Kennah is Vice President and Senior Design Build Manager at Systra USA. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming.

Robert is a licensed professional engineer with over 25 years of project management experience. He has performed key interdisciplinary engineering, design management, and oversight roles on high-profile transportation projects throughout the United States and Canada. He has successfully led and delivered large-scale multi-billion-dollar transportation projects. This experience includes his role collaborating with municipalities, utility districts, public transportation, and governmental agencies. As a result, Robert has a thorough understanding of national, state, county, and local standards and codes that govern public assets.

At home in Parker, he has been an active community leader by serving on both the Parker Landmark Commission and the Parker Planning Commission. Robert values the importance of giving back to the community through active participation in public outreach and volunteering.

Merlin Klotz - President (Term 2023-2027)

Director Klotz retired from Media News [The Denver Post] where he was controller for Fox Street and Commercial Production plants for 14 years. As a CPA working in private industry his career included numerous start-up and turnaround situations in construction, oil and gas production, manufacturing and data processing services. 

Merlin was appointed to PWSD Board in 2012 and re-elected in 2014 and elected as Douglas County Clerk and Recorder in 2014 and 2018.

Don Langley - Treasurer (Term 2022-2025)

Director Langley retired as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of The Babcock & Wilcox Company (B&W). He was responsible for the company's research and development operations, including advanced clean coal technology development, oversight of R&D for small modular nuclear reactors, and other technology commercialization efforts. He also held positions in field engineering and construction, project management, manufacturing and operations.

Don has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University. He also holds a Professional Energy Certificate from the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder.

Prior to joining the PWSD Board, he served as a volunteer on the Citizens Water Advisory Committee for Aurora Water and has served on various Metro District Boards and an Authority.

He and his wife moved to Parker two years ago and live in the Idyllwilde community. They have two grown sons and two Shetland Sheepdogs who they love spending time and hiking with.

Bill Wasserman - Vice President (Term 2023-2027)

Director Wasserman has 15+ years’ experience as an Executive Recruiter. Currently, he is President of Parker Executive Search Consultants Inc. Prior to becoming a recruiter, he had 23 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Industries in Operation’s Management. Bill held various Senior Management positions including Director of Packaging, Director of Corporate Production Planning Inventory Control, and Director of Purchasing.

Bill has a Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s Degree in Business from Florida Atlantic University. He served as past Chairman and Vice chairman of the Economic Development Board for the City of Sunrise, Florida. He is an active member of Ave Maria Catholic Church and serves as a member of the Parish Council.
 
Bill has been married to his wife Nancy for 45 years. They have two grown sons and two granddaughters.
