Parker Water & Sanitation District will hold a board election on May 2, 2023. At that time, three (3) directors will be elected to serve 4-year terms. Registered voters who live in or own property within the District boundary may vote in the election.**
The election is being held as a Special District Election under Title 32, Article 1, C.R.S.; Title 1, Article 13.5, C.R.S. (“Election Laws”).

Election Format
The election will be a drop-off and mail-in ballot format. PWSD has hired an outside consultant to run the election on our behalf. The consultant has responsibility for collecting ballots, counting ballots and certifying the election. Ballot boxes at the below locations are locked and inaccessible to PWSD employees.

Note: Please drop ballots at the designated indoor election box. Ballots cannot be accepted at the PWSD drive-through payment box.
These locations are also available for electors to obtain new or replacement ballots. These locations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning April 10, 2023, and from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the day of the election, May 2, 2023.
Individuals who moved into the District after ballots are mailed out may visit one of the above locations to request a ballot and vote in the election.
All ballots, excepting ballots cast by individuals covered by the Uniform and Overseas Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA), must be received by 7:00 p.m. on May 2, 2023, in order to be counted.
UOCAVA ballots must be postmarked by May 2, 2023, and received by May 10, 2023, in order to be counted.
**Please note that only customers located within the boundaries of the Parker Water and Sanitation District are eligible to vote in the upcoming May 2, 2023 election. Customers receiving service from the District in the Stroh and Hess Ranch areas of the Town of Parker are not within the boundaries of the District. Rather, customers in these areas are served under the terms of a 1992 Service Agreement. If properties in these contract-service areas are included into the District in the future, customers in those areas will be able to fully participate in the governance of the District by voting or running for District office.
