Parker Water & Sanitation District’s Commitment to the Community

Employees collecting garbage along the Sulphur Gulch Trail in Parker Colorado

Our vision is to sustain life for our community by providing a growing population with secure, long-term, and high-quality water and wastewater service. As part of that vision, one of our values is to build unity and provide extraordinary service. As a way to live out those values, we provide opportunities for employees to give back to the community they serve throughout the year.

Last month, PWSD staff committees Recognizing Our Crew and Encouraging Environmental Excellence, teamed up to sponsor our annual clean-up of the Sulphur Gulch Trail, located in Parker near the PACE Center. Approximately four and a half miles long, this trail connects to the Cherry Creek Trail within Bar CCC Park in Parker.

Employees scoured the gulch retrieving clothing, bottles, cans, campaign signs, and other debris, and removed them from the waterway. This event provides us with the opportunity to give back to our community, while also serving as a reminder of the importance of preserving our environment.
